Jordan, MT

REALLY teeny. 1 main street about 3 blocks altogether. Hells Creek was a bar/restaurant Maggie and I hung out at basically all week. We met this cute bartender guy, David. One of my favs of Maggie’s tour boys 2nd only to Bo. They hung out and had a sweet bonfire and he gave me AWFUL directions so I couldn’t find them. womp womp. Angus, the cutest little boy on the planet, was so excited about rehearsal he wore ties everyday. Best.

Kenny mentioned he wasn’t sure about staying at LCT. The hunt begins. Off to LA to visit Jillian Kate W!

Hardin, MT

A few miles from a Crow Reservation, Hardin is a pretty Small town, Hot Spot is def. Mojo’s. This cool coffee/gift/chocolate shop in town. Really sweet people and ANYTHING coffee/tea related you could think of. They also had handmade cards and cool belt buckle/metal jewelry. Another cool spot was Sew Queen. The owner makes all the hair bows, flowers, headbands etc. They had cute clothes and reasonably priced for a little boutique like that. I bought a cute grey hat.

The high school had really beautiful murals on the walls, the acting class was fun. Full of characters.

Chicago, IL

Winter Break. Lazy to the extreme! Went snowboarding at Devil’s Head with Julia, Bri Bri, Ronnie the Bear and Mike. Totally sucked and was sore for two days. It was worth it though, lots of fun. Went on the sweatpants bar crawl in Wrigley.  Lots of people in hot orange shirts drinking. It was okay, i’d prolly do it again if I’m around the area next year this time. Then Kenny came. MEET THE FAM! We went to my Gramma’s to make pasta fagiol, Janet’s for Christmas dinner, and my Godmom’s for a quick glass of wine after Christmas dinner. I’d say it was a success. Everyone likes him, holey ears and all. We went on two mini vacas. One to Chula Vista in the Dells which was SO FUN and an amazing deal. $100 a night (for both of us) all you can eat, drink, and water park passes. Doesn’t get too much better than that. Except Starry Nights at the Lazy Cloud Inn in Lake Geneva sure competes but in a different way. It was romantic and lazy all at once. Sweet hot tub in the room, cute decor, journals of past guests, Enchanting Evening board game (which made me realize Kenny is super sweet when the occasion calls for it). I am lucky to have him.

I can’t believe break is over already. Back to the fray. Starting the last leg of this journey that is tour. Heading to Hardin, MT for a mostly Montana tour. Here we goooooo! (Mario style).

Ituna, SK

Last week of fall tour. This week was awesome. The kids were excited and enthusiastic but our homestay takes the cake. Lynda made the best food and a ton of it. She canned her own everything including jam – saskatoon was the best, a new one for me. She brought us dinner to the school everyday and it was delish. Tried a bunch of weird shots at the one bar in town. Lynda came with! Apparently the secret to a happy marriage is the husband being away at work all the time. (says Glen and Lynda). 🙂
